That’s what I’m looking for. A champion. A heart
of pure gold, of pure desire. That’s what it takes.

You WILL fail in network marketing over and over
and over again, there is absolutely no doubt about
that and no way around it.

It takes that one final game winning shot to make it
over the hump…and over that hump is everything
you’ve ever wanted in life. As Mary Anne Radmacher said
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is
the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try
again tomorrow.”

This leads me to think about the industry we’re in:
Network Marketing. An industry that lots of people,
especially in these tough economic times, are seeing
as a viable way to help them achieve their dreams.
However, just like in professional basketball, there’s only 3 percent
success ratio. In our industry many people
quit as fast as the people who join.
Why is that?
There are several reasons however one key reason
we see is that many people give up too soon

Take some time out and think about the reason why
you are in the business. Most people will say,
“I need the money” but go a step further. Ask yourself
Why?
Do it five times as in this story a business partner told me a
while back.His colleague was enrolling a new distributor who was a
single mother working two jobs. He felt a little uneasy
enrolling her as the start up commitment was $399.00
to register with the company and he knew she struggled
to get the money together.

While they were putting her game plan together he
asked her her bluntly. Why do you want to do this?
She said “It’s a great idea”
He asked her, Why you think its a great idea?
She answered, “Cause I need the extra money”
He asked, “why do you need the extra money?”
She answered, “To cover my monthly expenses because I’m always short”
He asked, “Why are you always short?
She answered, “they cut back my hours on my main job
and I need to make it up”
He asked, “why you need to make it up?
She answered with rtears streaming down her cheeks,
“I’m so tired of my light been cut off and
I have to go and get it reconnected every other month”
“I’m so tired of the power off and my daughter who is in
middle school not able to study. That’s was the
childhood I lived with worry about money and not being able
to study to make a better life for myself and my family and
I want her to not EVER have the same childhood I had”

As in this story, ask yourself Why? at least five times in
the same manner and you’ll discover your inherent reason why
you chose your business.If your why don’t make you cry then
when struggle or adversities come because they will come.
You will be shaken out of the business.

Whichever company you are in in the direct sales or network
marketing field just remember, the only way to fail in
your business is to quit.

Stay in there and don’t quit.
